Episode 16
DESK WANKER
Gaynor gets asked out by a man at Hammersmith Tube Station - however, he is not who he seems.
Mason has him brought in and after a five minutes talking to him isn't convinced. He swabs his DNA and unveils a man known in the media as the "Seven Sisters Rapist".
The Coalition Government's Interim Home Secretary, Penny Lane M.P hears of this and brings him on the case of a missing child that is in danger of collapsing as the alleged abductor will not talk.
Mason goes into the interview room, removes his solicitor and immediately gets to the point and tells the abductor of the syringes he carries. One is a concentrated version of diisopropylphenol and some other chemicals; the other - eggs of the taenia solium . "If I use one, I'll use the other. Your choice. But you will tell me the truth."
Ms Lane temporarily seconds Mason from his role with the UK Security Services to step in at Union Street Police Station in South London following the suspension of several high-ranking officers.
An undersized male and self-proclaimed Roger Daltrey lookalike, by the name of Christopher Fry is soon arrested for the murder of sex worker Lizzie Kuypers.
Anita tells Mason that this is the happiest Mason she has seen him in a long time.
Mason puts it down to the fact that he's working in London and that Jenny is here.
"And Gaynor," adds Anita.
