It is the run up to Angie and Pat's wedding.
Gaynor finds out a few things about Mason - one of which is that his parents were killed and that he was actually in the car at the time.
He was also in a coma for over 40 days.
She along with her parents also find out that he is academically gifted and is studying at university for his Master's in computer science, computer forensics and electronics, the three days that he isn't at college.
He is also on med's to calm his hyperactivity.
The chemical suppression of his hyperactivity is something which frustrates Gaynor.
Angie and Pat have been gazumped on a house they were to buy - however, Mason gives Gaynor £7,000 to give her sister as a wedding present.
Questions are then asked about where Mason gets his money.
