Gaynor tells her mum that Pat is losing Angie.

A concerned Mason introduces Angie to Simon Deal, who is the father of his dead ex-girlfriend and the CEO of the Tokyo Investment Bank over in Canary Wharf.

Angie gets the job as well as a new friend in Gaynor's sexual nemesis - Claire Milz, and her degenerate gambler of a husband A.J - or Arthur, as Gaynor always refers to him..

Their life starts to take a turn for the better.

Gaynor is happy as her and Mason's "Long Term Plan" is in full motion but she is worried about Mason, who with college and university ending, needs something to occupy his overactive mind.

Gaynor's dad asks Mason if he would like to come and help him at work.
