EPISODE 9
THE DEPOSING OF THE IDIOT KING

For months, Mason has been fixing motoring fines for friends and relatives and has been changing the paperwork to make it look like it is the Mayor of London who has been doing them.

In fact, The Mayor had recently been in Southwark Magistrates Court on a motoring charge and had lost the plot and threatened to behead the magistrate.

London banker Simeon Cartier-Bloem has thrown his weight behind former M.P Anthony Percy's bid to become Mayor of London and has sought the help of Mason. When Special Branch find this out alarm bells start ringing and both the BBC and ITV get taken off air.

Gaynor's politically astute crowd of friends, from down at the Hammersmith Vaults, decide to help push things along, and as part of her thinking she seeks advice from Mason's gran and becomes the chairperson of the newly formed Arabella Trust - a charity that has been formed to look after the city's less fortunate.
